When the week softens into evening and the light turns golden, Friday Night Candle Lights becomes your sacred pause — a space to rest, release, and remember who you are beneath the noise.
Surrounded by candle glow and the resonance of crystal bowls, you’re invited to lie back, breathe, and let sound do the heavy lifting.
The tones weave through you — a gentle conversation between body, mind, breath, and soul — softening what feels heavy, loosening what’s stuck, and guiding you home to your own inner healer.
In candlelight, we gather. In sound, we return to ourselves.
As the week exhales and the world races toward the weekend, Friday Night Candle Lights offers a different kind of arrival — a slow, grounded descent into yourself.
In the glow of soft candlelight, I guide you through an immersive sound journey of crystal singing bowls, music, chimes, and tender drums. The vibrations gently invite you into a deeply relaxed brainwave state, easing you out of “fight or flight” response and into the rest your mind and body have been craving.
I’m here to offer a calm, nurturing space — a grounded presence that allows you to settle inward, release what feels heavy, and reconnect with the part of you that knows the way.
This experience celebrates your own inner wisdom.
Everything you seek is already within you.
Rest comfortable, soften into the moment and let yourself be held by the sound.
The benefits
The roots
Friday Night Candle Lights was born as a sanctuary for anyone navigating emotional pressure, unspoken expectations, or the weight of holding it all together.
Sound offers a gentle doorway to release what words sometimes cannot reach, creating ease for your nervous system and a return to your own inner rhythm.
This gathering is for you if you are:
• A first-timer curious about sound and presence
• Someone seeking a moment to simply be
• A person navigating a full life and longing to exhale
• A tender or sensitive soul needing nervous system support
• Anyone quietly searching for a deeper connection within themselves
Here’s what’s coming up. Pick a location and find a date that feels right for you, and let the sound be your end‑of‑week exhale.

About 30 years ago, I was introduced to ideas that opened the door to a deeper understanding of consciousness and the way our thoughts and energy shape our lives. Since then, I have continued to study and explore these teachings — practicing meditation, immersing myself in the journey of connection and awareness, and deepening my study of the science of sound as a bridge between the mind, the body, and the unseen. Sound became another language of energy for me, revealing the limitless potential that lives within each of us.
During my 25 years of working with children through dance, I’ve witnessed their confidence and joy bloom like tiny lights in the world. Yet alongside their sparkle, I’ve seen something quieter — the subtle dimming of those who give so much of themselves. I’ve seen moms carrying countless roles, dads holding themselves together as they navigate the pressures, teachers pouring their energy into every lesson, and caregivers tending to others endlessly — all forgetting the light that lives within them.
That was me — always giving, always moving, always doing… until I realized I needed to come back to myself.
So I followed the thread — breath, meditation, energy, sound — and little by little, I returned to my own center. From that place, this work was born. Not from perfection, but from remembering.
Here, in candlelight and sound, We gather. We breathe. We remember.
Whether it’s a Friday Night Candle Lights gathering or a 1:1 session, my intention is the same: to help you feel lighter, more centered, and more connected to your own inner rhythm.
I’m honored to share this work with you.

Before you step into the sound, a little preparation goes a long way. These simple practices help you arrive softened, open, and ready to receive exactly what this journey has for you.
Q: Is sound therapy a replacement for medical or mental health care?
Sound work is a supportive, complementary practice and does not replace medical or psychological treatment. Please continue to follow guidance from your healthcare providers and let Melinda know if you have any specific concerns.
Q: What if I fall asleep?
Totally okay. Your nervous system still receives the benefits of the sound; sometimes sleep is exactly what your body needs.
Q: Can I come alone?
Yes, yes, and yes. Many people come solo. This is a beautiful space to be with yourself while still feeling held in community.
Q: What should I bring?
Bring a yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on, a blanket, a small pillow if you like, and a bottle of water. Cozy socks and an eye mask are lovely additions if that feels good.
Q: I’ve never done a sound bath before. Is this for me?
Absolutely. Many people attend their very first sound bath with Melinda. She’ll guide you through what to expect, how to get comfortable, and how to listen to your body throughout.
